"Hard Won, Not Done" is the theme taken on by the League of Women Voters for the statewide centennial commemoration of this important step towards gender equality.
"The Suffragist" team is exceedingly proud that our musical about Alice paul, (Iowan) Carrie Chapman Catt, and other political organizers is supported by the League of Women Voters, and included in their centennial commemoration platform.
Our musical dramatizes the struggles and victories of these brave American women as they suffered in jail and were tortured for their peaceful protests.
